Ashby de la Zouch Museum has a unique collection of over 3000 historical photographs.
We have a very large collection of both original and copied photographs of Ashby and its surrounding area from the 1870s to the Present. Many of them can be viewed on this website. The Ashby ones are subdivided into geographical sections:
Bath Grounds; Bath Street; the Callis; the Castle and Manor House; Derby Road; the Green and Elford Street; Kilwardby Street and Moira Road; Leicester Road; Lower Church Street and St. Helen’s Church; Market Street; North Street and Brook Street; Nottingham Road and Wood Street; South Street and Upper Church Street; Station Road; Tamworth Road. There are also collections under Aerial, Military and Sport.
